EthnoExpert Co. Ltd. was founded in 2009 by the St.Petersburg specialists in the field of environmental, historical and cultural studies. Establishment of the company was preceded by a 2005-2009 period, when EthnoExpert started its development as a St.Petersburg State University Researchers Group (known as the “EthnoExpert Group” or “Northern Expedition”), integrating young talents, fundamental knowledge and innovative management specialists.
With the Russian and International projects management experience Igor Semenov took CEO position in the EthnoExpert Company. Scientific administration and management carries Doctor of Geographical Sciences Konstantin B. Klokov.
EthnoExpert Co. Ltd. attracts experts from leading research and educational institutions of North-West Russia to the company projects realization. Company headquarters is located in the historical scientific and educational area of Saint-Petersburg – at the eastern part of Vasilievsky Island (5, Tuchkov lane).

Traditional land-use territories and objects of historical and cultural heritage mapping, local ethnic groups stability evaluation in relation to external influences, ethnic conflicts prevention and resolving methodology development. - Protection of Historical, Cultural and Natural Heritage of Russia. Expeditions Management. Organization of scientific and educational expeditions aimed at the local ethnic groups and areas studies.
